As the snow begins to retreat and the first signs of green return to the hills, we’re feeling that familiar shift here at Tourterelle. Late winter has its own quiet beauty, but there’s an unmistakable energy that comes with longer days, more daylight, and the promise of spring.
This time of year always inspires us in the kitchen. We’re balancing the comfort of the season with brighter flavors and a calendar full of reasons to gather. Our upcoming Aquitaine Wine Dinner is one we’re especially looking forward to — a thoughtful evening of paired courses and great bottles, designed to be shared around a lively table.
Easter Brunch will be here before we know it, followed closely by Mother’s Day, two of our favorite celebrations of the season. Both are wonderful excuses to slow down and bring family together for a special occasion.
